Good News Tree Service, Inc. of Wilsonville, Oregon—
Making the world a more beautiful place one tree at a time!

Our business model. Our business is built on a foundation of old-fashioned service, traditional values and business ethics fused with modern tree care techniques based on the latest research in the science of arboriculture.

We have deep roots in the Pacific Northwest. We are locally family-owned company with roots in the plant care business in the Pacific Northwest going back for three generations to 1960. Good News Tree Service, Inc. is a full-service tree care company that has been serving residential and commercial customers in the greater Portland area since 1985. Based in Wilsonville, we serve the Wilsonville, West Linn, Lake Oswego, Sherwood, Canby, Aurora, and Tualatin areas.

Plant health care specialists. We offer tree and shrub fertilization, plant health care services including diagnostics and treatment of plant pests and diseases.

Aesthetic pruning experts. We specialize in the ancient Japanese pruning styles of niwaki and sukashi. We have perfected the art of this type of aesthetic pruning to fit the more naturalistic style preferred by Pacific Northwesterners as inspired by the native, naturally “pruned” trees that grow along our coastline and in the subalpine and alpine regions of our mountains.

We offer standard arboricultural services.
Of course, like everyone else, we do tree removals, brush chipping and stump grinding for both residential and commercial clients. We also do cabling and bracing and provide mitigation for damaged and hazardous trees.

ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) Certified Arborist services. Good News Tree Service, Inc. also offers ISA Certified Arborist reports and consultation services, including construction site tree protection planning and oversight.

ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified. We have the training, certification and decades of experience working with trees from their roots to top of their crowns to evaluate your trees for possible risk and hazard issues.
